Hi! Here's a bit about me.

Andrew Yuki Crawford is a Japanese-American composer, music producer, and horn player. His music gathers influence from Jazz, Impressionism, Japanese 80s Pop/Fusion, Synthwave, and his experiences traveling the United States and Japan.

In May 2024, he graduated from Oklahoma City University with a Bachelor of Music in Composition. Andrew hopes to write scores for film and television and write more music for the concert hall. In both cases, he wants his music to move people emotionally and physically and bring hope, joy, and a smile to the audience. 

For performers, he aims for his music to be idiomatic and emotionally satisfying. He has been commissioned and performed by ensembles such as Brightmusic Chamber Ensemble, Bridge Ensemble of Michigan, and OK City Opera.

When he’s not composing, Andrew enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Julia, and their cat, Appa. He is also fascinated by film photography, vintage fashion/styling, architecture, and road-tripping.
